The Old Forge Borough Planning Commission will hold a Public Meeting on the proposed Borough Comprehensive Plan and New Zoning Ordinance on Thursday, October 19, 2023 beginning at 6:30 at the Old Forge Municipal Building,

The proposed new Comprehensive Plan is a set of policies for the development and preservation of the Borough over the next 10 to 15 years. The Plan addresses land uses, housing, community facilities and services, natural features conservation and transportation.

The proposed Zoning Ordinance includes a new Zoning Map and includes the following major components: Uses Allowed in each Zoning District, Dimensional Requirements, Additional Requirements for Specific Uses, Signs, Parking, General Regulations, Environmental Protection, Administration and Definitions.
