Marion Street Park is currently receiving major enhancements!

LED lights are currently being installed throughout the entire park. The lights are being funded through a competitive Local Share Account Fund (Gaming Funds) Statewide Grant in the amount of $300,933 which was written by Borough Manager MaryLynn Bartoletti.

A new playground area has been installed and will be opened October 13, 2025. And, soon to come will be resurfaced basketball courts and an upgrade to the golf center, the addition of an adult workout area, and an inclusive play area which are all made possible through American Rescue Plan Grant Funds.

The park will soon have a nature meadow which is being created through a partnership with Lackawanna County Conservation District.
